HOW TO SELL:
AUCTION LOCATION: 218 Wingo Heights Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303
CONSIGNING EQUIPMENT: To consign equipment, please call 1-800-256-6713. We can fax or mail you a consignor
package. It contains a sales agreement, auction schedule, maps, general information
and equipment listing sheet. The Equipment Listing Sheet is used for advertising
purposes. We use these for weekly advertising deadlines, web page equipment listings
and the color brochure. It is very important that one sheet be used for each piece
of equipment being consigned and that all listing sheets be thoroughly completed.
If additional sheets are required, please make copies. You may fax, e-mail or
mail your equipment list to our office. (You may also print the EQUIPMENT LISTING SHEET from this website)
PLEASE NOTE: In order to operate efficiently and to pay consignors in fourteen banking days,
a signed sales agreement and a listing of equipment must be on file with Kissimmee
Auction Company, Inc., prior to the beginning of the auction. Make sure we have
your name, company name, address, etc., this is the way your check will be made
out and the address that it will be mailed to. Kissimmee Auction Company, Inc.,
is a fully licensed and bonded company, so your sale proceeds are guaranteed.
For those of you consigning equipment from overseas, the equipment can be forwarded
to our company. We will arrange transportation from the port to the auction site,
and all applicable fees will be deducted from the consignor’s sale proceeds.
An E.P.A. approved equipment cleaning and painting service will be offered on
site. All cleaning and painting costs will be deducted from the consignor’s sale
proceeds. For more information regarding painting and cleaning service, please
call to make arrangements as soon as possible.
Each piece of equipment delivered to the sale site should be marked with the
consignor’s number, have two (2) sets of keys, at least ½ tank of fuel, and a
good battery. If your equipment requires fuel, batteries, etc., they will be supplied
and all costs will be deducted from your sale proceeds.
TITLED ITEMS: Kissimmee Auction Co., Inc. is a motor vehicle dealer in the state of
South Carolina
and must adhere to all state laws regarding the sale of titled items. All items
requiring a title by State law must have a title in the office prior to the first
auction day. Your item WILL NOT BE SOLD without a copy of the title or the original title in the office. All titles
must be signed and notarized. It is the responsibility of the consignor to provide
a legal title. If you are bringing in an item that should have a title and for
some reason it does not have a title, YOU MUST LET THE OFFICE KNOW, IN WRITING,
WHEN YOU CHECK IN YOUR ITEMS and IT MUST BE ANNOUNCED WHEN IT IS SOLD. THIS IS
THE SELLERS RESPONSIBILITY. Do not give your titles to anyone in the field or a salesperson. Titles must
be brought to the office, you will receive a receipt when you bring in each title.
This receipt is proof that the title has been received by the office. Titles not received by sale day will be charged a $25.00 late processing fee
per title. We must have a copy of your title if it is being processed or is being
held up due to title transfers or title work.
ADVERTISING: Advertising is the key to any good sales program! In order for us to do the
best possible job for you as a consignor, we must attract the right group of buyers.
Our International Advertising Program and Internet Page combine to bring you maximum
results. We advertise weekly worldwide and update our Internet page on a regular
basis. Check out our Web Page at www.kissimmeeauction.com. Consign your equipment
early to take advantage of our Advertising Program.
The following deadlines have been established to get you the most exposure possible
for your equipment.
We will advertise in each edition of the following trade publications beginning
six weeks prior to the auction date: Heavy Equipment Trader,
Rock-N-Dirt

Machinery Trader
, and Construction Equipment Guide
Three weeks prior to the auction date - Brochure Deadline
The Monday before the auction - Auction Catalog Deadline
EQUIPMENT CHECK-IN: Daily operating hours are 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. We are open 7 days
a week two weeks prior to the auction date. Be sure that your truck driver knows
your seller number. Each piece of equipment will receive a blue identification
tag when it is checked in. Each piece will be written up upon arrival on a CHECK-IN
TICKET. Ask for your copy of this form, it is your delivery receipt.
